About Us

The East County Community Tennis Association (ECCTA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Funds are generated through membership dues, donations, league fees, fundraisers, and grants. The ECCTA is responsible for insurance and utility costs and, in cooperation with the Helix Charter High School, maintenance of the tennis facilities. The ECCTA also provides instructional, competitive, and social tennis programs for beginner to advanced juniors and adults.

Mission Statement

The East County Community Tennis Association seeks to promote, educate, and encourage adult and youth development in the sport of tennis.

Play: Most ECCTA activities/events are open to the public. Members receive discounts and priority.

Compete: The ECCTA hosts adult and junior tournaments for every level! Additionally, ECCTA has more World Team Tennis (WTT) Teams than any other club in the county! Join a WTT team today! (Players must be ECCTA members to play on an ECCTA WTT team) ECCTA also has a Women’s Day League and an Over 50 league.

Improve: Benefit from quality instructional programs. Both private and group lessons are offered for adults and juniors from USPTA/USPTR Certified instructors. Cardio tennis and quick start are also offered.

Enjoy: Participate in fun social activities and events, such as round robins, potlucks, parties, outings and more!

Community Service: The ECCTA is managed entirely by volunteers. Give back to your tennis community and participate on the Board of Directors, join a committee, or volunteer and help ECCTA to thrive!
